Protect & Serve
The officers of the Piperton Police Department work to ensure Piperton remains one of the safest cities in the Southeast. Personnel provides around the clock coverage for the City of Piperton.
The department strives to maintain a strong partnership with its citizens and is more effective with the communication and support it receives from the community. The overall effectiveness of the department is a result of the leadership, training, dedication, and professionalism of the officers, and support provided to the department by the citizens.

When you use a cell phone to request immediate service, it is possible your call may go to another jurisdiction such as Collierville Police in Shelby County or Marshall County, Mississippi. Be prepared to provide additional information regarding your location and nature of the emergency.
Cell Phone Etiquette
During a cell phone placed call to request immediate service:
- Remain calm.
- Inform the person at the center you reach that you are trying to contact Fayette County Sheriff Dispatch.
- Explain the nature of your emergency.
- Provide the information requested by the center.
