Great for Commercial Businesses
If you are a light industrial company or commercial business looking for a friendly, low tax, semi-rural place to locate a new facility, you've come to the right place. Piperton offers easy access to:
  • A large diverse labor pool
  • Intermodal rail facilities
  • International airport
  • Major interstate highways
Piperton is located in the southwest corner of Fayette County Tennessee, just east of Collierville. It currently has a population of about 1,800 residents and is directly on the leading edge of the population growth corridor leading from Memphis to Germantown to Collierville, and now Piperton. No less than 8 nice new residential subdivisions are planned or have been developed over the past few years to accommodate the anticipated population growth.

Major Developments
Several major developments have occurred in and around Piperton over the past few years including:
  • A 500-acre intermodal rail facility was opened just east of the city in 2012
  • The final segment of Highway 385 from Poplar Avenue to Macon Road was completed in 2014
  • A new segment of Interstate 269 from Piperton to Goodman Road in North Mississippi is scheduled to open in late 2015
Several light industrial properties of up to 7 acres are still available in the Piperton Business Park and on Willard Drive.  Other sites of up to 90 acres are also available along Highway 72 and along Highway 385 and Keough Road.
